Gaye Steel is a senior executive armed with 25 years marketing experience. She takes a pragmatic approach to drive robust strategic thinking into executional excellence. With a solid track record in achieving outstanding results Gaye has held several key senior management positions (client and agency side) with organisations including Reckitt Benckiser, McDonald’s Australia, Telstra, National Foods, Church and Dwight, and the McGrath Foundation.
Gaye takes an active role in industry and community. An industry judge for Women in Media; Annual Top 30 under 30 Australian Marketers; Effie’s Advertising Effectiveness Awards and she’s passionate about realising personal, professional, and business growth through learning and development.
Gaye is an accomplished Academic Lecturer in the field of strategic marketing. Most recently lecturing at the exciting start-up Academy of Entrepreneurs and for the Business Faculty at Laureate International University, Guest Lecture Master of Business Administration (MBA) Corporate at The Business School University of Wollongong, having previously spent 11 years with Macleay College.
Gaye has recently been appointed as the Capability Director for the Australian Association of National Advertisers. Currently completing an MBA, Gaye combines marketing expertise with facilitating and inspiring individual, group and organisational growth.
