Picture You in Agriculture (PYiA) is a Not for Profit Organisation whose vision is to design and deliver community events that are a true celebration of the diversity, sustainability, creativity and progress of the people, places and produce behind the industries that feed and clothe us and will power us in the future.

The Picture You in Agriculture model takes a collaborative approach to raising agricultural awareness, leadership development, community engagement and inspiring the next generation’s best and brightest to seek careers in the agriculture sector.

At Picture You in Agriculture we believe the key to success for a bright future is forging partnerships to work together to identify, prepare and support our emerging leaders. Our partners recognise that by working together we can achieve more innovative solutions, better results and catalyse and sustain positive change impacts for Australian agriculture.

One way we can nurture young Australians is to create the environment and give them the skills to thrive. Our world renowned programs which include The Archibull Prize and the Young Farming Champions bring school students, exciting young farmers, art and science together. Our partners have the opportunity to be in the driver’s seat to help nurture and see what happens when you bring these astonishing young minds together:

• Extraordinary art works on full sized fiberglass cows exploring our Australian agricultural industries, the environmental issues that affect our farmers, and the world class food and fibres we proudly produce.
• Multimedia animations designed by the students exploring Agriculture.
• And the blogs that map the journey the students take towards gaining an understanding of agriculture in Australia – its triumphs and challenges.

Our Kreative Koalas – Design a Bright Future Challenge Funding Model builds on the research that shows that students who go to schools that partner with parents, the community and business have a much great opportunity to thrive.

Our partners know that investing in the Picture You in Agriculture model can do so much more than securing the production of food and fibre. It can produce jobs, wealth and vibrant, healthy and resilient communities and create the bright future for Australia we all deserve.

There are currently many different organisations who share our values and are passionate about a bright future for Australian agriculture and our communities and together we can work more efficiently so we are presenting the right messages in the right mediums and we’re not duplicating each other’s work.
